Keeping the colour palette muted, the illustrations are a perfect accompaniment. It’s an excellent story, great for reading aloud or for cuddling up with a loved one.  There is something incredibly captivating about Julie Flett’s art. It’s not flashy or loud but a tribute to the natural world and all who live within it.
