Hi.

Welcome to my reviews.  Enjoy, take some time to discover a new book!  Happy reading!

Winter Fun

Winter Fun

Deborah Kerbel and Miki Sato share the joy and fun of the snow in their new picture book Snow Days.

Snow Days is a beautifully illustrated little reminder about the fun to be had in the snow. Written in verse, it’s perfect for our youngest little readers. The lyrical way the story rolls off the tongue makes it perfect for sharing with a crowd or a group of preschoolers or kindergarteners. The book itself has a squishy cover and thick card stock pages so somewhat similar to a board book and great for any little book eaters you have in your class/household.

Miki Sato’s illustrations are dynamic and gorgeous! Using paper collage to bring the winter to life there is so much inspiration for some older readers who love to create.

At the end of the book, Deborah Kerbel reminds the adult readers about some super fun ways we can enjoy the winter. With a lot of us sticking close to home, we will certainly need this inspiration to get through what could be a long winter.
